the libraryEvery book ever written by a Wizard, Witch or even by a Muggle can be found within the Library. The library is a large room filled with all sorts of books, some of which you have to get permission from a teacher to read, these books are located in the restricted section. Where there isn’t a shelf there is a table, for students to study at. Each table is near a stain glass window much like the ones located in the Hospital Wing that is right below it. |

the hospital wing - 1 ViewingOne of the most important places in the school is the Hospital Wing. If someone is injured due to Quidditch, or sick they come here. The room is a large rectangle room, lined with many stain glass windows, beds, and cupboards. From inside the hospital wing one can hear a Quidditch Match going on, just not very well. Within the cupboards are many potions to make one well. In the winter one can come here for pepper up potion, to keep the colds away. |

trophy roomAwards, trophies, plates, shields, and metals are all displayed behind a crystal case, inside of the Trophy Room. The case shimmers with the fire that burns in its fire place beside it. This room is a popular place for Peeves to act up, and wreck havoc for Filch. It is unwise to host a duel within it. During the day the room is quiet, peaceful and warm, even though no one visits it. |

the room of requirement - 1 ViewingNeed a place to hide from Filch? Try the Room of Requirement, located on the Seventh Floor. The room alters to what you want it to be, the instant you pull open the door; whether it be a room filled with candy or just a normal broom closet. This room is a relatively well kept secret. The door isn't always there, leaving many students to not know of its existence. |

the headmasters officeHidden behind a gargoyle on the third floor is a spiral staircase that leads up to the Headmasters Office. The office itself is a round room filled with many metal interments that do all kinds of things, some play music while others float above the tables. Almost every inch of the walls is taken up by portraits of old Headmasters, or very great Wizards in history. In the middle of the room is a desk, next to it is a perch where a phoenix is suppose to sit. |

the clock towerLocated near the charms classroom is the Clock Tower. This large tower faces the front golden gates of the school. A pendulum at the bottom of the tower swings back and forth, as the hands move at the top. This is the perfect place to study, since it is usually quiet. |

astronomy towerPass through a door on the right floor on the seventh floor and you'll find yourself going up a spiral staircase. At the top you'll find a flat surfaced, circular roof, a guard rail surrounds the tower, and one each hand rail is a golden telescoped use to observe the stars at night. This place is peaceful in the morning and even more so at night. |

the owleryIf you need to send someone a letter, you’ll find your owl in this round tower. The floor of the owlery is covered in owl droppings. the groundsThe grounds are quite extensive, taking in a large forest and enough open space that folks in the castle never noticed the firey breath and roaring of group of four angry dragons kept in a paddock near the forest for the Triwizad Tournament. There are entrances to the grounds, which seems to imply that there is a wall or fence enclosing the entire area. The main entrance gate is flanked by pillars on which stand statues of winged boars. Sub-boards: the courtyard, the forbidden forrest, the lawns, the black lake, the pumpkin patch, the quidditch pitch |

the ministry of magic - 1 ViewingWhat may look like a normal, broken down, red phone booth may very well be the entrance to The Ministry of Magic. Step into the phone booth, press the right combination of numbers, and the phone booth will start to descend into the ground, where the Atrium is located. The inside of the ministry is made of marble brick. The Fountain of the Magical Brethren lies half way down the Atrium. A group of golden statues, depicting a wizard, a witch, a centaur, a goblin, and a house-elf, spout water into the surrounding pool of water. At the end of this long corridor is a golden gate where you check your wand in and continue on your way. Sub-boards: the atrium, department of mysteries, wizengamot court room |
