Saber is a bit shy and will normally not make eye contact with someone the first times he meets them. He also rub his middle finger and thumb together when his emotions are getting the better of him.
goals:
Saber is young, only eleven. So he does not have too many goals to speak of. He would like to pass all his classes with Outstandings and make a few friends a lot the way.
personality:
Saber’s parents would considered him to a normal boy. He loves sports, competition and and enjoys being in the great outdoors, but this does not really describe him all that well. Saber is a laid back type of person, he enjoys the quite, stormy weather, and a good book whenever possible. Would Saber be considered shy? He has his moments as his mother would say. Saber his just not that outspoken when it comes to his emotions and that could be seen as shyness by some. Although he may be somewhat shy, once he does make a set of core friends, that “shyness” melts away quickly.
Saber is a very attentive person and once he has focused upon a task it is hard to get him to stop before it is completed. Whether it is concentrating on his runningprograms to make a certain distance/time, practicing Quidditch or working his on homework, Saber is not the type of person to quit midway. Thus, he normally has completed the work assigned before most of the other students. This also may be due to the fact that Saber is an obedient person, especially when it comes to authority figures, so when a professor tells him to do something, he tries to get it done as soon as a possible.
When Saber was at the primary school in Glasgow, it seemed that he had a easier time speaking with his teachers than he did with the other students. For Saber, speaking with a teacher about school work or an assignment just comes more naturally than some other social aspects. This may be do to the fact that when Saber is not studying, reading, playing sports or just not generally busy, he enjoys just sitting around in a quiet atmosphere. He is not really an anti-social type of person, he just has his moments. He doesn’t go out of his way to socialize, unless it is in his core group of friends.
Saber, at times might seem to a bit uptight or that he takes things a bit too seriously. He would feel that this is not the case, he just feels that some things should be done before others. This view of life however, especially at this pint in his life, might make it hard for Saber to find a core friendship. It is not like he doesn’t enjoy having fun but some might not see him as a “fun” type of person. This is sad because once people get past the outer shell of Saber, there is a fun and rather enjoyable guy to know.
Saber tries to find the good in everyone even though he knows that there are some that have none. Saber does not believe in the blood status controversy that has engulfed the wizarding world over the years. This is primary because of this schooling in Glasgow but also, Saber cannot look at a person and see such a category. If you cannot see blood status, then why would you judge someone based on that is Saber’s mentality. Saber might a bit odd in his actions at times, but the thing to remember is that Saber is still very young, which means that he can be somewhat impressionable, especially by older figures. It is entirely possible that he person that Saber is now, might not be the same person once he leaves Hogwarts.
appearance:
A small frame would be a good characteristic for Saber. Saber loves to run which helps to keep his body on the slim side. Saber has hit that stage of awkwardness for most teenage boys. He is starting to grow at a rather rapid rate and that has left him a little taller than most his age. He current stands about 5’9” This helps add to the illusion that he is much thinner and weak looking that he actually his. He is an outdoors type of lad and his constant roaming and “adventures” help to keep the pounds off and keeps him in rather good physical shape. The last time that Saber checked, he weight in at about 120 pounds.
Saber’s hair can fall between a light brown in the summer, has his hair is exposed to more sunlight, to a medium or dark brown in the winter. His hair is of medium length, falling over the ears and the back collar of his shirt but short enough in the front to remain just above the eyebrows. It is normally wavy and even more so when Saber decides not to comb it, which is most of the time. He tends not to keep his hair trimmed and hardly ever cuts it, which just add to the overall disorderly affect.
There is nothing too spectacular about Saber’s eyes. They are of an average brown color, and little more rounded that most. The bridge of his nose is a little wide, which upon closer inspection can make Saber’s eyes oddly far apart from one another. Saber would have what some may call, hooded eyes, meaning that his eyelids are not fully exposed and covered by excess skin. Adding to the small eye trait, his eyes are a bit squinty making him look a bit tried all the time.
For such a young age, Saber a very defined jaw and chin which helps to give his face a short of diamond shape with more angles that curves. So far, his skin has been blessed with the gift of a clear complexion. Sure, there are potions that can take away the now and again blemishes, but thankfully, he has not had to used such products yet. Growing up on the Isles, primarily Scotland, Saber can be quite pale for a good portion of the year. However, once summer rolls in, he gains a little bit of color as he spends most of his time outdoors. His nose is wide at the bridge and wide at the base but the combination of small nostrils and short length gives the illusion that his nose is of average size. His lips are thin and his mouth his small which help to add the overall small effect of his face. One reason that Saber likes to keep his hair so long is because of his ears. They are rather large and stick out from his head making him look like a baby chimpanzee.
marks, scars, tattoos, etc:
Being an outdoor type, Saber has various nicks and scars about his body. He had one very noticeable scar across the his thumb knuckle on this right hand. When he was younger, he was playing with his father’s knife when it slipped from his hand, he tried to catch it, but the blade caught his thumb instead. Sure, his father just could have applied some potion, and the scar would have went away for good, but Saber’s father thought it would be best for him to keep it.
overall style:
Saber’s sense of style, is well, average. He is not lavish, nor does he like to put much effort or thought into his style. He tends not to keep up with the latest trends, either Muggle or those from the wizarding world. From time to time, Saber likes to wear the “dress” clothing, dress robes or dress shirts and ties, that sort of thing. Normally, Saber is comfortable in some dark blue jeans, a collared shirt or just a plant colored t-shirt. When Saber is having a “bummy day” mood, he can normally be seen in his running shorts and a plain tee. Like most Witches and Wizards, he is most comfortable wearing robes.

history:
[/blockquote]ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
Saber was more nervous that he had been in his entire eleven years of life. The day had finally come, the one in which he had been waiting since he first heard about the wonderful place. He glanced back and forth trying to catch sight of people passing by. He wanted to know which were Muggles and which were like him. Today was the today in which Saber would travel to Hogwarts for the first time. He knew all about what the was and made his parents repeat loads of information about the school during the weeks leading to September 1st. He felt like he already knew his way about the school, but it was still wondering to finally be going.
He had a slight hesitation while passing through the brick wall. Who wouldn’t, it is not everyday one gets to walk through solid walls. He trusted his father however and knew that he would not tell him wrong. Once through, the was struck hard in the face by a second wall which he entirely did not expect. The steam was hot and moist upon his face and so thick he could barley make out what was in front him. He heard the whistle sound loudly and his eyes feel upon the scarlet steam engine of the Hogwarts Express. It look better that he had imagine but there was something more on the platform that shocked him even more.
Saber had grown up in a Muggle city, went to a Muggle school and had primarily all Muggle friends. It was quite a shock to see so many magical people in one place. There was a rather old looking witch guiding her granddaughter through the crowd as she colorfully expressed her dislike for the number of people. There were short round wizards, tall lanky ones, some that wore clothing that looks as if the were as old as Merlin himself and students as far as the eye could see. There were animals in cages, trunks everywhere and parents calling for their children because they had forgotten important items. It was a mad house, and Saber loved the thought of it all.
He wondered if he would make friends. He had trouble making friends when he was in school in the Muggle world. It took him a great deal of time to find his core group and he hoped it would not take as long this time around. After all, everyone here was like him, how hard could it be? He kissed his mom and dad goodbye, boarded the train and started to look for an empty compartment. There was no turning back now.
