^{Interested in joining; or have you joined already? I would say you’ve made a good decision stopping here. The rules are pretty simple. All you’ve got to do as a member is agree to the following set. Let’s start, shall we?}

* The Basics.

* Thirteen Plus

• You must be thirteen years or older to join this site. So, if you’re under the age of thirteen do not sign up until you’re at least thirteen years of age.

* Harassing/Flaming

• We do not take kindly to harassing other members, bad mouthing, racism/racist remarks, or sexism in comments. If you do anything along those lines (out of character of course) you will be warned. If you see anyone doing this, report it to an admin or staff member.

* Spam

• Please refrain from spamming on any of the boards, especially the ones that are out of character. It's understandable to post an IC comment here or there, but try to limit them. The PM system or Cbox are two of the things you can use for chatting. They're there for that reason, so why not use 'em?

* Graphics

• When it comes to creating/requesting a signature, keep it within the size of 500 pixels wide - 250 pixels high or 200 x 300. When it comes to icons, any size doesn't matter as long as it is within the lines of 200 pixels tall by 150 pixels wide, nothing larger.
  
  Your signature should be of your characters model, same with your avatar.

* Activity & Multiple Characters

• Multiple characters mean more responsibility. It's up to you to make sure they stay active, don't fall behind on any plots they're involved in. This site allows you to make around four characters. We don't mind if they're boys, girls, or both. Just keep a maximum of four characters at this time.

+ Age & Model

• When choosing a model for your character, pick someone age appropriate to the character you play.
  
  Also, The avatar and signature that you choose must be of an actual human being. No cartoons, drawings or anime. The human may be any say of your choice, but an actual human being.
  
  Please use an actor/actress, regular celebrity, or a well-known model. Do not try to get away with any inappropriate face claims, it won't happen. We do not allow using pornstars for characters or wrestlers. We also do not allow emo, scene, goth, random faces from Flickr, Tumblr, DeviantART, etc. No Alex Evans, Hanna Beth, no Audrey Kitching -- none of that. The style does not go with the theme we're aiming for and not everyone on the internet wants to be used as a RP character.

+ Names Of Those In Shows Or Movies

• This is a simply matter of originality. Do not take a full name from someone off a popular show or movie, and ESPECIALLY don't use the matching celeb! I can't stress enough, be original.

+ Recognizing Reality

• Please realize that this is a magical fantasy RP. Thus meaning there isn’t going to be the latest bands, latest technology, and latest crises. It just doesn't make sense, I don't remember seeing Harry Potter walking around with an iPhone; so neither should you.
  
  Also, I would like to point out another thing that shouldn't be, is people who carry their 'in character' relationships to an OOC board. Just because the character is acting a certain way doesn't mean the person behind them is the same.
  
  Try to put forth a little effort and put some feeling into it rather than considering everything's assumed.

+ Points Of View

• Writing in certain points of view is very important here on this forum. We expect everyone to post in third person, unless you are typing out of character. So when it comes to you being in character, please use third person.
  
  For example;
  
  Third person:
  
  John walked over to the door before he looked back over at Helena, her eyes showed no emotion towards him anymore.
  
  Instead of,
  
  First person:
  
  I walked over to the door, before I looked back over at Helena, her eyes showed no emotion towards me anymore.

+ Perfection

• So your character gets perfect grades, has gorgeous hair, luck with the ladies (or gentlemen), and bloody hell if s/he won't end up saving the world. Your character is absolutely, one hundred percent boring. Avoid making a Mary Sue. If we think your character appears to lead the golden life, and is basically a Mary Sue, you won't be accepted. We all have flaws and weaknesses.

+ Special Abilities

• You may not just randomly decide to give your character special abilities. If you wish for your character to have a special ability, you may contact an admin and your request will be taken into consideration.

+ God-Modding

• No one is perfect and no one knows everything. Don't god-mod, it's annoying and unfair. Consider both the other character and their plotting before you attempt this. Sometimes it is hard not to god-mod, but try to keep this rule in mind and don't go over the top with it.

# Three Paragraphs Minimum

• Our site does not allow one liners and one paragraphs. We accept three full paragraphs (about 400 words) minimum on this board.

# Language

• The use of bad language is allowed, but only when appropriate. Excessive vulgarity, constant unneeded swearing or such will warrant a warning. Remember to keep it classy.

# Sex, Violence, & Drugs

• We do not allow graphic sex (smut) anywhere on this forum. Sex may be implied. Just skip the act of it. –- When it comes to violence, it is allowed (in role-play) under the person’s consent. Drug use of any kind, however, is not allowed whatsoever.
