[white]Hello there! I'm Keith and I have a few questions if you all do not mind. Teehee. I've been looking around for an RPG to test out an idea, you guys look young, but, with a beautiful skin it must have potential. Can I have a selective mutism character? He can speak, but tries to avoid speaking when at all possible. Likely casts spells by whispering the spells, not by shouting as they seem to do in the movies all the time. He'd probably struggle in Charms, Transfiguration, and Defense Against the Dark Arts. I also noticed you guys are having trouble with the "avatars" stretching out too much when a member uses one bigger than intended. Try this code instead of California's avatar code: www.wormocodes.com/index.cgi?board=codedb&action=display&thread=1428 This enforces a maximum size, not just lifting the default 100x100. Can children have ferret pets? [/white]

Hello there Keith! Thank you for your kind words about the site! We just opened yesterday, which would explain why the site looks young. (:
As for your questions, I don't see why you couldn't have a character who is that way. I don't see any problems with that. I never could understand the yelling of the spells in the movies, you could mumble or mutter them and they'd still work... I'd like to think. I like your idea for your character and there's no problem with proceeding with that idea on Disenchanted.
As for pets in school or in general, it is perfectly OK for characters to have pets in and out of school. Cats, owls, rats, ferrets, etc are all OK to have as long as it's not an exotic animal like a lion or bear.
Coding: I haven't noticed any issues with it stretching once it's been set by an admin. I do notice if someone puts a large icon in that it stretches until it is fixed. Which character have you noticed the stretching on?
Thanks a lot for the code and suggestion, I'll take a look at it and try it out.
If you have any further questions just ask!

] [white]Hi. Thank you for your answers. The avatar is stretching on this person's profile, the staff, yours, actually. disenchanted1.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=viewprofile&user=staffIt is 15 pixels wider than the set, and the code you're using California's avatar code is now considered invalid because it doesn't enforce "larger" limits. You can test it and you'd probably experience extreme board stretching due to it. The code I linked on my previous post is the new code that fixes that problem. [/white]

Thanks a lot for the information! I replaced that code with the one you gave me, hopefully that fixed the problem. We've had these codes since 2006, so we haven't really updated them.
